Christmas Poem 2011
Gifts of Gold
Times are hard, money’s tight;
nerves are frayed, people fight.Though not found ‘neath a tree,
gifts of gold can be free.Hold a hand, give a hug;
put a smile on your mug.Pat a back, feed a friend;
find some fences to mend.Cut some slack, eat some crow;
drop a grudge— save your dough.Times are hard, money’s tight;
things seem dark— be a light!© 2011 Cheri Neuman Herald
