Voila ! this is a excellent illustration of your poem , below . How amazing and surprising picture . Like a dream , really . Love
Michel
oh! completely different from the so real image my own mind had conjured so clearly from your description - in mine, the elephant was a toy/sculpture, there was a riot of colour, the image was from the front not behind . . .
i like this, but i prefer the image you conjured more personally, for me =)
@loopdeloup - I would imagine, Lucy that each reader had a different image in his/her mind. The poem should stand on its own, and apparently for you--it did. That makes me happy. It's why I didn't publish them together at first. That picture fascinates me, and I finally decided to share it. I couldn't help but wonder what a child with such an exotic life dreams of. Might she dream of a home like the one across the way and a more typical life-style? She wouldn't be able to take her friend. And the elephant! She/he seems to be enjoying the child's company and the passing parade of cars, but what is it thinking? The more I look at it, the more intrigued I become.
''If only the True Love between this child and her elephant would transcend to Man. So many elephants have been mistreated in the circus. AMEN''
wow ! ..lol ryc..I didn't know what mean of Blue moon until now ,too..
My latest post was in the same line as the ours !! Love Michel
I love the photo. Good to "see" you again, Cheri. I'm going to try to get back to Xanga a little more often. Facebook is great, but sometimes you want to say more than their limit allows.
Hi Cheri. Thanks for finding my page after the long silence. I figured no one would think to look anymore. As Alice said, "I'm going to try to get back to Xanga a little more often."
