  • Merry Christmas, Xanga Friends!

    Sar Shalom

    Although the date
    is likely wrong,
and no wise men were there,
we know the angels’ song that night:
    hosannas filled the air.

    House, cave, or inn,
    it isn’t clear--
    a humble place at best;
the details long ago were lost
    and poets guess the rest.

    What matters more
    remains today--
    the reason why He came:
to preach good news, to feed the poor,
to heal the blind and lame,

    to save mankind
    that once was lost--
    restore His rightful heirs.
Pray Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace,
soon meets us in the air!

  • Yes, the Prince of Peace, a magnificent man and Spirit. Merry Christmas.

  •   And when mankind doth bow its head
      In complete humility
The lord of hosts, He spreads His arms
      To gather equally
The black and white, red, yellow, brown
      All genders, young and old
Surrounding all with love so pure
White hot is bleached to cold
      Hatred crumples at His feet
      Love circles as His crown
And glorious is the triumph as
      His peace snows gently round
