Celtic Games Festival
We went to a Celtic Games Festival this past weekend down in Zephyrhills, FL. I'd never been to one. We enjoyed glorious weather, an antique car display, men in skirts and knee socks throwing heavy objects, lots of food (I declined to try the haggis) music, dancing, and I found my husband's Herald clan tartan pattern. Not bad for a 5 dollars entrance fee.

Cool....especially the men in skirts and knee socks part.
I'd pay more than $5 to see that.
I love events like these. The ones that make us feel closer to our ancestors. Looks like the weather was great.
Hi Cheri! I pray all is well with you. Sounds like you had a great time.

Has your husband Scottish ancestors ? Does he wear kilt for the important occasions ?

Michel
Michel, yes my husband has Scottish ancestors--so do I. We found his tartan pattern, but they no longer produce it. He could wear a generic one, but I guess he'll stick to his blue jeans.
